Signature of seven co-operation agreements between Algeria and Kuwait

Tuesday 12 October 2010 in Algiers, Kuwait signed seven co-operation agreements with Algeria, during a visit to Algiers by the Emir of Kuwaït, Mr. Al Sabah.

The agreements cover several domains,such as justice, health, tourism and transport infrastructures.

With respect to marine transport, a memorandum of understanding has been signed, while for air transport, an air route between Algeria and Kuwait could be up for discussion, reports the newspaper El Watan.

In Tunisia, the Islamic Investment Bank GFH announced the launch this week of the financial port in Tunis.

This will require an investment of 3 billion dollars. According to a press release from the bank, carried on the site African Manager: "the Financial Port of Tunis will offer a world-class center for financial services institutions to establish their operations there, while also offering a modern seaside lifestyle for employees and residents."
