Ethiopia: Authority Signs Contract Agreements to Construct 20 Road Projects

Addis Ababa — The Ethiopian Roads Authority has signed contract agreements to construct 20 road projects during the first 8 months of this Ethiopian fiscal year, the Authority said.

Communications director with the Authority, Samson Wondimu told ENA on Sunday that the construction of the roads is expected to be completed within three years.

He said that the construction of the 449-km roads will be carried out at a cost of 7.2 billion Birr.

Some 13 of the total projects will be constructed in asphalt concrete level, Samson said.
