ICA holds its third Senior Level Meeting in Berlin on 17-18 January 2007

Conference posterThe Infrastructure Consortium for Africa will hold its 3rd Senior Level Meeting in Berlin, Germany on 17th and 18th January. The meeting will review progress on the ICA members’ joint actions and decisions, and agree on an action plan for 2007.

As Germany takes on the joint Presidencies of the G8 and EU, the 3rd Senior Level meeting of the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa will be hosted by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ, Bundesministerium fà¼r wirtschaftlishe Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung).

The discussions will be attended by high-level representatives from the G8 countries’ ministries and agencies involved in cooperation and development and key multilateral bodies including the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the European Investment Bank and the European Commission. Leading African institutions such as the African Union, the NEPAD Secretariat and Africa’s Regional Economic Communities, as well as senior-level India and China government officials will also participate.
