Infrastructure Financing Trends in Africa 2017

Description

Infrastructure Financing Trends in Africa is the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa’s flagship annual report.  It provides consistent and comprehensive reporting of the mobilisation of financial resources for the development of Africa’s infrastructure, covering the continent’s energy, water & sanitation, transport and ICT sectors.

The ICA’s annual report, widely acknowledged by stakeholders as the authoritative “document of record” relating to investment into Africa’s infrastructure development, covers all sources of infrastructure financing – including multilateral and bilateral donors, African national governments, development banks and the private sector.

Infrastructure Financing Trends in Africa 2017 is the ninth edition of the ICA’s annual report. As well as detailing financial commitments and disbursements by source, the report analyses investment by region and by sector, while also considering strategic and emerging issues, such as new sources and types of funding, Africa’s infrastructure financing gap and the continental impact of regional infrastructure projects.
