3 September 2009 On Wednesday, 2 September, the African Development Bank (BAD) approved a loan of 87.83 million Tunisian Dinars (66.306 million Dollars) to upgrade the country’s electricity distribution networks. 29 March 2011 France has announced its intention to make a sum of 150 million euros available to Tunisia to finance a project to extend the natural gas network in the regions in the North-West and South-West of the country, it was announced on Friday by the French minister for Industry, Eric Besson.
