G8 + Africa Meeting on Infrastructure

The meeting brought together key donors and African institutions. Its main objective was to consider a proposal tabled by the UK, under its G8 Presidency, for the establishment of an Infrastructure Consortium for Africa. It is against this backdrop that participants agreed to the proposal for the establishment of an Infrastructure Consortium.
