ICA Members
In recognition of the emphasis placed on regional initiatives, the participation of key African institutions is critical.
The Consortium is a tripartite relationship between bilateral donors, multilateral agencies and African institutions.
The membership of the Consortium from the African side is led by the African Development Bank while AU Commission, NEPAD Secretariat and Regional Economic Communities participate as observers in meetings of the Consortium.
The AU will indicate to the AfDB and to the Consortium which of the development banks in their sub-regions will be members.
This arrangement ensures ownership and alignment of Consortium activities on African priorities.
Membership will be open to other donors making significant financial contributions to infrastructure in Africa.
