Description

A well-designed Atlas of Africa's fourth largest river basin, The Zambezi River Basin Atlas is a comprehensive, visual map of the changing environment in an area that spreads over eight SADC member states:  Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

It was created as a tool for policy makers and stakeholders in the region –to aide them in making informed decisions about projects [including infrastructure projects] in the Zambezi River Basin.

This report was contributed by GRID-Arendal, where more high quality reports and detailed maps of current and potential hydro-projects on the Zambezi River can be found. For the full report and for additional resources, please visit www.grida.no
