What is the Knowledge Hub?

What is the Knowledge Hub?

The ICA's Knowledge Hub is a regularly-updated online collection of publications, reports, articles and opinion about the development and financing of Africa’s infrastructure.

What kind of documents can be found in the Knowledge Hub?

What kind of documents can be found in the Knowledge Hub?

All the publications, reports and articles in the Knowledge Hub relate to Africa's infrastructure development. In addition to material about the four main infrastructure sectors - energy, water, transport and ICT - the Knowledge Hub also includes material covering topical issues and cross-cutting themes that impact on Africa’s infrastructure development and how it is financed - such as urbanisation, climate change and regional integration.

Where does the material in the Knowledge Hub come from?

The material is drawn from a wide variety of sources. Some of the material is published by, or commissioned by, the ICA itself. Other material is published by the ICA's host, the African Development Bank, and by other international or multilateral institutions and organisations with knowledge of infrastructure in Africa, such as development institutions and agencies.

The Knowledge Hub also includes articles and opinion pieces written by journalists, academics and experts with an interest in Africa's infrastructure development.
